An incredible Equifest for team Heald Town

A favourite event within the equine community, Equifest has something for everyone. The classes are always highly contested with many travelling from up and down the country to take part.

It has become somewhat a tradition for Tracy and Ivan McMillan along with rider Emma Ellis Jones,

and their Heald Town ponies to spend a week at Equifest and The Southern Highland Pony Show. This year they have taken Heald Town Bonny, Heald Town Beautiful Girl and Belle of Kelland to the party, although Belle is not competing. They also have a special guest this year in the form of McDougalberry, the Highland cousin of Willberry the Wonder Pony. McDougalberry is raising funds and awareness for #wilberrywishes and is #kickingcancersbutt.

The team have had an excellent start with Heald Town Bonny and Emma Ellis Jones taking a win in the M&M ridden and going into the evening performance, which they won in very good company. Bonny and Emma are now officially the Amatuer M&M Ridden Champions, an incredible result which has come as a result of some serious hard work and dedication from Bonny's owners and rider and perhaps a little luck from McDougalberry. Roll on Sunday for the Southern Highland.
