Heald Town Highland Pony Stud

Poppy joined the Heald Town herd in 2014 having been pleased with what our two other 'Dull' ponies had bred.

Firstly please forgive that we haven't posted many photos of Poppy. She's a very friendly pony and does follow people around in the field to make sure she gets her scratches and cuddles which means taking a photo if her in the field with no humans in it is particularly tricky.

Poppy is a beautiful yellow dun colour and has the most wonderful long think mane. Many have commented on her pretty highlights. 

Her father, Bratach of Kirkcarrion, is a very handsome bay stallion.

 

In 2019 Poppy ran with junior stallion, Glenmuick of Coynach and has produced a lovely filly foal in the spring of 2020.
