Heald Town Highland Pony Stud

In 2015 at the age of 21 May was gifted to us from the Mecredesburn stud. May will have a job to do into her retirement, she will eventually take over the job of looking after foals at weaning time.

May is a sweet mare with a quiet nature but she isn't a fan of too much handling. She will happily stand in the field to be groomed but we've learned we have to hide the head collar if we want to catch her, she doesn't enjoy coming indoors.

This mare is from quality lines, out of Holmedown Maydew and by Jura of Whitefield. She has bred high quality foals over the years and is now enjoying her semi retirement days keeping our herd, particularly the youngsters, inline.
